It is with great pleasure that we congratulate Greg Brown, on receiving a Medal of the Order of Australia (OAM) in the recent Queen's Birthday Honours. Greg has been a member of the Lord's Taverner's since 1985, he has been the National Chair of the Lord’s Taverners Australia since 2008 and was the Victorian Chair between 2005 and 2007.
Greg was awarded his OAM for service to the community through support and fundraising roles for a range of charitable organisations.

Bill Jacobs passed away on Friday July 29, 2011, aged 93.
He played 266 consecutive club matches for Fitzroy Cricket Club between 1937 and 1956 coming from the Brunswick Cricket Club. He claimed 448 dismissals, as a wicketkeeper, and was captain/coach of their 1953/54 premiership team, having played in two earlier grand final victories.
He also played football; in the then VFA, with Brunswick.
